Community response

“Thank you for standing together with us and supporting the cause of children.”

Professional reflection

“Respectful professional collaboration and cross-country dialogue are essential to advancing child protection.”

The exchange focused on strengthening child protection systems through community-based approaches that prioritise prevention, early identification, and coordinated responses to child protection concerns.

The discussion reflected on the critical role of children, parents, teachers, local leaders, and religious leaders in building and sustaining safe and protective environments for children.

When community actors are equipped with safeguarding knowledge, child protection principles, and clear referral pathways, they become active agents in preventing harm and identifying risks early.

This exchange reinforced the value of peer learning, cross-country dialogue, and shared responsibility for every child’s wellbeing.
