Mathilda Muatesih Sangha

Mathilda Muatesih Sangha is a trained educator, safeguarding and child protection advocate, and human rights consultant with a strong commitment to creating safe, inclusive, and nurturing environments for children and young people.

Her work operates at the intersection of education, safeguarding, mental health, human rights, and leadership, with a particular focus on schools and faith-based organisations across Africa and the diaspora.

Her safeguarding journey is grounded in lived experience, professional training, and sustained engagement with children, teachers, caregivers, and community leaders.

Yukfu Sylvie Bantar

Yukfu Sylvie Bantar is an award-winning Cameroonian journalist with 14 years of experience in audio-visual and digital media. She works with Cameroon Radio Television at the North West Regional Station in Bamenda.

She is a science reporter, presenter of major health programmes, former correspondent for Radio France International’s Africa Calling podcast, and online writer for FairPlanet and CRTVweb.

She serves as Head of Communication Unit of TillyExtraSteps, bringing expertise in journalism, public relations, science communication, crisis reporting, and strategic communication.

Administration & Finance

Bercy Edwin Jeba Raj

Bercy Edwin Jeba Raj is an experienced HR, administration, operations, and finance professional with nearly 10 years of experience across business operations, financial management, human resources, and office administration.

She currently works in Bahrain as an Office Admin cum Operations Controller, overseeing HR processes, financial reporting, budgeting, payroll coordination, vendor management, and strategic administrative functions.

Her background includes finance, operations, procurement, compliance, advanced Excel reporting, and academic experience as an Assistant Professor of MBA.

Child Protection & Safeguarding Consultant

Eric Rwagasore

Eric Rwagasore is a senior child protection and safeguarding specialist with over 15 years of experience in child protection and GBV in humanitarian and refugee settings.

He specializes in strengthening protection systems, advancing survivor-centered approaches, and leading multi-sectoral coordination in complex environments.

He has led large-scale protection programmes aligned with international standards, including the Child Protection Minimum Standards and IASC GBV Guidelines.

Education Secretary

Vera Berinyuy

Vera Berinyuy is a dedicated education professional and child protection advocate with extensive experience in teaching, academic mentoring, and learner development.

She holds a Master II in English Language and Literature from the University of Ngaoundéré, as well as a Master I and Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Yaoundé I.

As Education Secretary of TillyExtraSteps Foundation, she contributes to educational programmes, awareness campaigns, and capacity-building initiatives that promote child protection, safeguarding, and safe learning environments.
